General Motors introduced the Pontiac Firebird Targa in the spring of 1992 with with flowing new contours giving greater all-round visual distinction from any other Pontiac before. The Pontiac Firebird Targa base model was fitted with a 3.4-litre V6 160bhp engine linked to a 5-speed manual transmission gear change. The slick and slinky looking spaceage type design Pontiac Firebird Targa with the menacing look about it is also fitted with dual airbags and ABS. Released on the open market for sale to the general public in 1993.
