In September 1924 Sir Malcolm Campbell took his car, a V12 Sunbeam named Bluebird to the Pendine Sands in Wales where he reach a speed of 146.16mph. Then on July 1925 Sir Malcolm Campbell became the first man to reach a speed on land of 150mph.
