One of the biggest con scam going is the wire transfer paraphernalia. Motor car buyers who wish to purchase a car online should become aware of the popular online scam perpetrated by unscrupulous individuals who's aim is to steal their hard earned cash by stating that payment is only accepted via wire transfer. This method of asking the buyer to pay by wire transfer is a scam. How the con works: The seller offers a vehicle for sale which they themselves haven't got. To con you out of your money they often just post a stock photograph of any car, usually a photo of a car they found from somewhere. During the negotiations, the con artists car dealer indicates that they are based in a location near by, usually in Europe. He or she will insist on payment by wire transfer. The buyer seen the photograph of the car thinks that he is onto a good thing, so off he goes searching for places like Western Union, to make a payment via wire transfer. Once the buyer sends the money, the car dealer vanished into thin air, never to be heard from again.
